Die Tinktur wirkt entzündungshemmend und eignet sich zur Anwendung bei Wunden, Schnitten und ähnlichen Hautverletzungen.
Was ist Propolis?
Bienen verwenden in ihrem Bienenstock das sogenannte Kittharz (Propolis) zum Abdichten von kleinen Spalten und Öffnungen.
Da die Honigbienen auf engstem Raum bei einer Temperatur von rund 35 Grad und einer extrem hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit zusammenleben, sind sie besonders anfällig für bakteriellen oder viralen Befall.
Um dies zu verhindern, ummanteln die Tiere beispielsweise das Innere ihrer Wabenzellen oder Fremdkörper im Bienenstock mit einem Film aus Propolis.
